- Senior Sportsperson (18 years and over);
- Junior Sportsperson;
- Masters;
- Service to North Queensland Sport; and
- Athlete with a disability.
If you or your organisation has a member/s who you believe make a significant contribution to sport in North Queensland, we request that you complete a Nomination Form and return it to our office by no later than Monday 3 September 2018.
To assist in the selection process it would be appreciated if you could please include as much information as possible on the Nomination Form, further information can be attached to the form if necessary and you may nominate more than one person for each category. Nominees must be a resident of the Hinchinbrook Shire to be eligible. Nomination Forms are available from our website, Awards and Bursaries page.
Cr Marc Tack said “This is a wonderful opportunity to recognise the local athletes who have excelled in their sport and also those people who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes for the betterment of sport in our community”.
This year’s gala function will be held in Mission Beach on Saturday 27 October 2018.
