Waste Education

Council's Waste Education Program provides a variety of services to help residents, schools, community groups and local businesses reduce and reuse their waste and recycle right.

These range from presentations, audits and bin tagging, through to facility tours and events.

Schools and early learning centres in particular play an important role in rethinking what we do with our waste by encouraging children to become instruments of change at kindy, school, at home, and when they are out and about in the community.

Content directed at children who are in general curious and engaged, can influence positive waste and recycling behaviours with the adults in their lives.
