Cash and EFTPOS Payments (Mastercard and Visa only) are accepted at both waste facilities including purchases made at the Tip Shop.

Accepted Waste

Prohibited Waste

The following waste is prohibited at both facilities:

• Ammunition;
• Chemicals (except on dedicated household chemical disposal days);
• Contaminated soil;
• Explosives;
• Flares;
• Liquid waste; and
• Radioactive waste.

Free Waste

Note that the following items can be disposed of for free (provided that they are placed within their designated area):

• Hydrocarbon waste (oil and filters);
• Batteries;
• Cardboard;
• Eligible drums (clean and empty) DrumMUSTER;
• Empty gas bottles;
• Fluorescent tubing;
• Electronic Waste (E-Waste);
• Glass/plastic bottles and jars, aluminium cans; and
• Scrap metals.
