Council Community Consultation

Hinchinbrook Animal Management

Hinchinbrook Shire Council is reviewing the local law related to ownership of dogs and cats under Subordinate Local Law No.2 (Animal Management) 2012 and are seeking your input to understand what the community’s expectations are on this matter. You are invited to complete the Hinchinbrook Animal Management Survey between 27 February and 18 March 2019.

The results of this survey will be used to guide decisions on the ownership of dogs and cats in our region, particularly related to the number of animals permitted to be owned.

The survey has eleven questions to answer and all responses received are anonymous. The survey can be completed online or via the hard copy surveys which are available at Council’s main office 25 Lannercost Street, Ingham; Hinchinbrook Shire Library; Halifax sub-branch and Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Lounge.

For more information regarding the survey please call Coucnils Local Laws Department on 4776 4607.
