2026-2027: Back to Basics Budget
This budget recognises the financial challenges we encounter while maintaining a clear vision for the future — revitalising and enhancing our essential infrastructure, much of which requires immediate care. While we understand the obstacles ahead, we see this as an opportunity.

The 2026-2027 Budget was adopted by Council on Thursday 25 June 2026.
Hinchinbrook Shire Council's 2026-2027 Budget has been prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 and the Local Government Regulation 2012.
