General Meetings

Council holds General Meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers.

All Council General Meetings are open for public attendance but may be closed to the public during the meeting to allow for discussion of confidential matters, this is known as ‘Closed Session’.

Regular meetings enable Council to set clear policy and direction and provide open channels of communication with senior managers, staff, residents and ratepayers of the region.

A list of Agenda items is available online from the Friday prior to the Meeting.

Register of Contracts

Under Section 237 of the Local Government Regulation 2012, Council is required to publish details of contractual arrangements on their website. Please see visit our Register of Contracts page for a list of these Contracts.
