Impounded Animals

Please find listed below all animals currently being housed at the Hinchinbrook Shire Council's pound.

For further information regarding the release of animals please contact Council's Environmental Services Department on 07 4776 4607.

Owners of animals displayed below will have five working days to organise collection, if the dog has been identified by a Council officer. Unidentifiable dogs will only be held for three days.

After the third day being the exit date the animal will be available for rehoming.  Anyone interested in rehoming an animal can register their interest with Council, this needs to be completed before 5.00pm on the exit date.

Animal Adoption - Expression of Interest form

Upon successful application to adopt an animal, a registration fee must be paid to Hinchinbrook Shire Council prior to the release of the animal.

Staffy Cross - approx 12 months old

Brindle Mastiff Cross - Female

Male and Female Dogs - Staffordshire Cross - Full Dogs

Found on Proberts Road, Bambaroo

Age: Approximately 12 months

Microchipped - No

Female Dog - Mastiff cross

Picked up at Nutrien off the Bruce Highway

Age: Mature

Microchipped: No

Not long whelped
