Hinchinbrook Shire Council provides our residents with a range of different payment methods, which include:
You can pay your account in person at the Shire Office – 25 Lannercost Street, Ingham or at any Australia Post retail outlet.
Payments can be made by cash. Cheque, money order or EFTPOS – debit cards and credit cards. No cash can be given on debit cards or cheques.
A quick and easy service that allows you to pay a fixed amount weekly, fortnightly or monthly from your nominated bank account. You can also arrange for a one off payment to be deducted on the due date of the total amount owing.

If you prefer to pay your account over the phone, you can conveniently make a payment using your credit or debit card by calling Council on 07 4776 4600. Credit cards accepted include: Visa and MasterCard.
Payment via the Telephone is also available by using the BPAY or POSTbillpay options.
Payment via mail is available for any payment notification you receive from Council, all you have to do is send your cheque or money order with a copy of your account to:
