This is achieved by services such as road works and road maintenance to build new roads, fix and patch pot holes and cracks on existing roads, reseal and re-surface roads, repair and install kerb and channel and sweep our streets.
Council is currently responsible for maintaining:
- 432 km of sealed urban roads
- 256 km of rural roads
- 151 km of kerb and channel
- Approximately 9 km of footpaths (not including parks)
- 44 bus shelters
- 57 parks and playgrounds
