Bulk Waste Support Program

Hinchinbrook Shire Council, in partnership with the Hinchinbrook Community Support Centre (HCSC) is again offering the Bulk Waste Support Program in 2024. 

The program is intended to assist households within our Shire who are:

• Physically unable to move or transport large items to the waste facility;
• Have limited assistance available through family or friends; and
• do not have the financial means to pay for a commercial service.

Each qualified household is entitled to one service per year and limited to the equivalent of one trailer load of bulk waste.

Eligible residents can register for the Bulk Waste Support Program from Monday 8 April 2024 to Wednesday 8 May 2024. 

The HCSC will commence bulk waste collections from Wednesday 24 April 2024 until Wednesday 22 May 2024.
