Want Council to come to your place and talk rubbish?

Council’s Waste Education Officer (WEO) is available, on request, to visit schools, Early Learning Centres, businesses and community groups to present age/year level appropriate waste and recycling content.

Subjects are covered in an interactive and entertaining way and include the journey of our waste and recycling, what and why we recycle, and ways we can each reduce our environmental footprint.

Council’s WEO will also work in partnership with schools, businesses and community groups to gather baseline data through waste audits. This can help manage and reduce waste output, and decrease costs involved with waste disposal.
