- Senior Sportsperson (18 years and over)
- Junior Sportsperson
- Masters
- Service to North Queensland Sport and
- North Queensland Athlete with a disability.
If you or your organisation has a member/s who you believe make a significant contribution to sport in North Queensland, we request that you complete a Nomination Form and return it to our office by no later than Friday 8 September 2017.
To assist in the selection process it would be appreciated if you could please include as much information as possible on the Nomination Form, further information can be attached to the form if necessary and you may nominate more than one person for each category. Nominees must be a resident of the Hinchinbrook Shire to be eligible. Nomination forms are available from our website www.hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au – Awards and Bursaries page.
Cr Maria Bosworth said “This is a wonderful opportunity to show recognition of not only those performing in sport, but also some of those people who work tirelessly behind the scenes for the betterment of sport in the North Queensland region”.
This year’s gala function will be held in Bowen on Saturday 14 October 2017.
