Half Yearly Rate Notices - late payment interest charges suspended

Half yearly Rates Notices issued on Monday 12 February are due for payment on or before Saturday 31 March 2018.

Please note that due to flooding in the district Council has suspended late payment interest charges if your payment is received on or before Friday 6 April 2018.

Payments can be made in person at Council’s Main Office,  25 Lannercost Street, Ingham or online via BPay, Australia Post billpay and BPoint, please refer to the back of the rate notice for payment details.

Interest will now be charged from Saturday 7 April 2018 on overdue rates at 11% per annum (0.03% per day). To avoid interest, rates must be paid in full by 6 April 2018. Ratepayers may discuss a payment plan if necessary by contacting the Rates Area on the number below.

Property owners are encouraged to check the details on their Rate Notices. A Schedule of Rates and Charges is included with the notice for reference.
