Lees Cordials began in a humble shed at the rear of 24 Herbert Street.
The family-run business, owned by Mr James Edward Thomas Look Hop Lee (Jimmy), relocated to 93 Herbert Street in the late 1960s, where it continued operating until it was sold and later became Dante’s Cordials.
By 2020, the building was home to Beaumont Tiles.
From these modest beginnings, Lees Cordials became a part of the region’s soft drink story.
