Administrative Access

Administrative access allows individuals to access their own personal information directly, without lodging a formal Right to Information or Information Privacy application. 

This applies unless: 

  • legislation (such as the Adoption Act 2009) prevents release, or 

  • the information includes another person’s personal information and must be assessed under the Information Privacy Act 2009. 

If information cannot be provided through administrative access, Council will advise you and explain how to apply under the appropriate Act.

Documents are available from  Council’s main office for the fees listed through our Schedule of Fees and Charges.
