Monday - Thursday 6.00am to 11.00am and 2.30pm to 6.00pm
Friday 6.00am to 11.00am and 2.30pm to 5.00pm
Saturday 9.00am to 2.00pm
Sunday 9.00am to 2.00pm

Facilities and features 

The Aquatic Centre offers a range of facilities for all ages: 

  • Beautiful, shaded grounds 

  • Two covered BBQ areas (free for public use) 

  • Children’s water playground 

  • 25m heated rehabilitation and learn-to-swim pool with accessible entry 

  • 50m pool with partial shade and accessible entry 

  • Fully stocked kiosk with swimwear, accessories and refreshments 

Programs and activities 

The centre supports a range of swimming and fitness programs: 

  • Learn to Swim 

  • Stroke development classes 

  • Junior and Senior Swim Squads 

  • Masters Squad 

  • Aqua Aerobics 

The Aquatic Centre is also proud to be the home of the Herbert River Swimming Club.
