Sewerage services

We provide reticulated sewerage services to properties within declared sewerage service areas across the Shire, helping keep our community clean, safe and environmentally sustainable. 

What our service includes 

Our sewerage services cover: 

• Collecting wastewater from connected homes and businesses 

• Transporting wastewater through underground pipes and pump stations 

• Treating wastewater at Council‑operated facilities 

• Safely disposing of or reusing treated wastewater in line with environmental standards 

Properties not connected 

Not all properties are connected to the sewer network.  

• Properties within declared sewerage service areas can access Council’s system 

• Properties outside these areas rely on on‑site systems, such as septic tanks.
