The Hinchinbrook Shire Hall has long served as a cornerstone of civic and community life in Hinchinbrook — a versatile space where people come together to celebrate, commemorate and connect.
Located in the heart of Ingham, the Hall has hosted generations of community gatherings, from formal functions and civic ceremonies to weddings, performances and social events.

As a Council‑managed facility, the Hinchinbrook Shire Hall continues to play an active role in community life, offering a welcoming and functional space for events both large and small.
During the temporary closure of the JL Kelly Theatre, the Shire Hall is proudly accommodating relocated performances and events, ensuring Hinchinbrook’s cultural and community activities continue uninterrupted.
Where we are
The Hinchinbrook Shire Hall is located above Council’s Customer Service Centre at 25 Lannercost Street, Ingham and can accommodate up to 530 people (including wait staff).

The Hall is available for viewing Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm, via wheelchair access on the eastern side of the building.
