What is the Hinchinbrook Disaster Dashboard? 

Council’s Disaster Dashboard is a central hub for disaster‑related information before, during and after emergency events. It provides real‑time updates on warnings, local road conditions and river heights to help you stay informed and prepared. 

What notifications can I opt in to receive? (accordion)  

You can choose to receive email notifications for: 

  • Weather warnings (with location options) 

  • Emergency news and updates 

  • River flood alerts, including your chosen rivers or stations and alert levels (minor, moderate or major) 

How do I manage my notifications?

Once you’ve activated your account and logged in, you can select and manage the notifications you wish to receive, tailoring alerts to suit your needs.

 

Will I receive SMS alerts?

For urgent or specific incidents, the Local Disaster Management Group may also send SMS alerts to subscribers.
