Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises residents that the kerbside waste collection day for the following roads will change from Tuesday to Monday, commencing Monday 16 November 2026.
Residents are reminded to place their bins out the night before or before 6.00am on collection day to ensure they are serviced.
The only change is the day on which your bins are collected.
This adjustment has been made to improve operational efficiency and support the safe and reliable delivery of waste collection services across the Hinchinbrook Shire.
Residents are encouraged to download the free Recycle Mate app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The app provides personalised bin collection reminders, collection calendars, waste and recycling information, and recycling guidance through its barcode scanner and AI camera features.
Council appreciates residents’ understanding and cooperation during this transition and reminds residents to place bins on the kerbside by Sunday evening or before collection on Monday morning to ensure they are serviced.
