Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises residents that a broken water main has impacted water supply in the Cordelia and Halifax areas.
Cordelia experienced a brief water interruption earlier, however water supply has now been restored to the township.
Properties from Blue Butterfly Road through to Musgrave Street, Halifax remain without water while repair works continue.
Council crews are on site and working to rectify the issue. At this stage, there is no estimated time for restoration.
