Water supply has now been restored following repairs to a water main break in Hoffensetz Street, Halifax. Some residents may experience temporary low pressure or air in the system as the network stabilises. Council thanks residents for their patience and understanding.

Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises that a broken water pipe at Halifax has caused an unplanned water outage.
This outage affects properties on Hoffensetz Street and surrounding areas.
Council crews are working to restore services as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, residents are requested to minimise water usage, including lawn irrigation, to assist in maintaining supply across the network.
Once the water supply is restored, some households may experience discoloured water or pressure fluctuations.
