Public Notice - Temporary Closure, Wallaman Falls Road

Council has been informed by Queensland National Parks that Wallaman Falls has been inspected and the area has now been reopened. The road to Wallaman has now re-opened. Earlier

Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises that, in anticipation of inclement weather and to ensure public safety, the road access to Wallaman Falls will be closed from the afternoon of Thursday, 5 March 2026, until further notice.

Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will conduct a site inspection to confirm that all members of the public have safely vacated the area.
