Public Notice - Temporary Closure, Cooper Street, Ingham

Council wishes to advise that Cooper Street between Miles Street and Abbott Street, near the Ingham Showgrounds, will be temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate the safe delivery of the Tones and I Concert at the Ingham Showgrounds.

This closure will be in place for the duration of the event to ensure the safety of pedestrians, event patrons, and road users.
Fraser Street and Fisher Street is also closed however it will only remain open to local traffic only. Detours and traffic management will be in effect, and motorists are asked to follow all signage and directions from traffic controllers.
Parking Advisory
Parking on grassed areas around the Showgrounds — including along Cooper Street, Morehead Street, Miles Street and Davidson Street - is not recommended. The ground is soft, and vehicles parked off the roadway may become bogged.
Please note that other areas around the Ingham Showgrounds are also quite boggy due to recent wet conditions, and parking in these locations should be avoided.
