Public Notice - Planned Water Outage, Herbert Street, Ingham

Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises of a planned water outage in Herbert Street (between Haig Street and Gardiner Street) on:

Thursday 4 June 2026 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (weather permitting).

The works are required to replace an existing water main located beneath new access infrastructure for a facility currently under construction in the area, connecting to the existing network.

Following restoration of supply, some businesses may experience temporary discolouration of water or fluctuations in water pressure.

If this occurs, please run taps for up to five minutes, or until the water runs clear.

Where possible, consider repurposing flushed water for gardening or lawn irrigation.
