Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises that mulch is available free of charge from the Warrens Hill Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre, subject to availability.

Council staff will be available to load mulch during the following times, daily:

  • 10.00am to 12.00pm
  • 1.00pm to 3.00pm

Residents wishing to self-load may collect mulch at any time during the facility's operating hours.

Please note:

  • Vehicles and trailers must have suitable load coverings for transport.
  • Residents wishing to self-load must bring their own equipment.
  • Mulch is available while stocks last.

This mulch is provided on an "as is" basis. As with any recycled organic material, it may contain natural debris such as leaves, seeds, and other organic matter.

Residents who collect and use the mulch do so at their own discretion and risk.
