HLDMG - Public Notice - Sand and Sandbagging - Update #3

The Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) would like to advise residents another three locations have been included for Ingham and Trebonne.

The LDMG continues to actively monitor weather conditions and associated risks. The Local Disaster Management Group thanks residents for their continued preparedness, cooperation, and community support.

Current Sand and Sandbag Locations

  • Ingham – Council’s Martin Street Depot car park
  • Ingham – Council’s Lannercost Street car park
  • Trebonne – Trebonne State School car park, Kehls Road
  • Cordelia – Carr’s Farm
  • Halifax – Lancini’s Farm Shed, Scott Street
  • Lucinda – Lions Park, Patterson Parade (near the Coastguard)
  • Taylors Beach – Progress Park
  • Forrest Beach – Near the water tower and skate park

Residents are encouraged to assist family members, friends, or neighbours who may be unable to undertake this themselves.

Residents are reminded to bring their own shovels when collecting sand.
