Hinchinbrook Shire Council is excited to announce an additional workshop to be presented within the Think Business – Economic Development Series, Hinchinbrook Storytelling.
The Hinchinbrook Storytelling Workshop and mentoring sessions are dedicated and tailored to individual businesses showcasing how you can build your business through the power of storytelling, interlinking with the Hinchinbrook Way.
Councillor Mary Brown said ‘The Hinchinbrook Storytelling Workshops are an opportunity for businesses in the district to showcase what they do best, their products and services and attract new customers. We want to see individual businesses capitalising off the momentum and reach of the Hinchinbrook Way and promote their business to the world’.
The free Hinchinbrook Storytelling Workshop will be held on Wednesday 9 May 2018, from 1pm-4pm and will cover how to capture the marketing benefits of storytelling that are now dominating the world’s major brand and product messages and how local businesses can maximise their impact on visitors before they arrive.
Businesses who want to take it to the next step can participate in the Maximise Your Stories sessions on Friday 10 May 2018. This session will work with participants to brainstorm and develop their own experience or brand and will examine business websites and social media pages to draw out key story opportunities and find new low coast angles to boost brand and guest connection.
To secure your place in the Hinchinbrook Storytelling Workshop please contact Council’s Economic Development area via phone 4776 4646 or via email events@hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au by Thursday 3 May 2018.
