Hinchinbrook Shire Council wishes to advise motorists and local businesses of temporary traffic impacts on Haig Street, Ingham, due to upcoming maintenance works on Wednesday 19 August and Thursday 20 August 2026.
Haig Street, between the Bruce Highway (Herbert Street) and Lynn Street, will have one lane closed at a time to allow potholing works and the location of existing underground services, with traffic temporarily shifted to the opposite lane.
Traffic control will be in place to maintain safety for road users, pedestrians and workers.
Council thanks residents, businesses and road users for their patience and cooperation while these important works are carried out.
