Hinchinbrook Shire Council is inviting community feedback on a proposal to rename Ingham Sewerage Treatment Plant Road to Wickham Road.
The proposed name change aims to improve clarity and enhance the public image of the road, which currently serves as access to the Ingham Sewerage Treatment Plant and surrounding infrastructure.
Wickham Road is proposed in recognition of the Wickham family’s early and significant contributions to the settlement and development of the district.
Council is seeking submissions from residents, property owners, and stakeholders who may be affected by or have an interest in the proposed change. All feedback will be considered prior to Council making a final decision.
