Hinchinbrook Shire Council wishes to advise residents of a planned water supply outage due to the hydrant refurbishment program at Kehls Road, Trebonne, weather permitting.
Works will take place:
- 9am to 5pm on Monday 22 September 2025
- 9am to 5pm on Tuesday 23 September 2025
- 9am to 5pm on Wednesday 24 September 2025
Temporary water interruptions may occur during the works, and it will affect 20 properties.
These essential upgrades are part of Council’s commitment to improving water reliability and service delivery across the Shire.
During the works, temporary water service interruptions may occur. Once supply is restored, residents may experience discoloured water.
If this happens, Council recommends flushing taps for up to five minutes or until the water runs clear. Flushing water can be reused on gardens or lawns.
