Hinchinbrook Shire Council reminds residents that residential green waste can be disposed of free of charge at both the Warrens Hill Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre and the Halifax Resource Recovery Centre.
Residents can bring green waste such as grass clippings, leaves, palm fronds, and tree branches to either facility.
Multiple loads are accepted at no cost.
This free service helps residents maintain tidy properties while ensuring garden waste is managed in an environmentally responsible way.
