Media Release - Find Your Future In Hinchinbrook

Council is inviting local businesses to be a part of the careers day event, Find your Future in Hinchinbrook.

This event, which will be held on Wednesday 29 May 2019, showcases local businesses, employment and training opportunities available within the Hinchinbrook Shire.

Deputy Mayor Mary Brown said “Find Your Future in Hinchinbrook is an exciting community event that showcases career opportunities that are available in the Shire.”

“This event is aimed at highlighting the diverse career possibilities which are available in the Hinchinbrook region.”

“We would like to see as many local businesses as possible involved in the event by either hosting a stall or by being a guest speaker and presenting on the day,” Cr Brown said.

Find Your Future in Hinchinbrook is in its third year and draws crowds which include youth, school leavers, the under-employed and those looking for a career change.

Cr Brown said “businesses attending the event will have the opportunity to showcase their work and industry, whilst connecting with potential employees, other businesses, training providers and Government agencies.”
