The International Fishing Series has hit Australian screens with the first of six episodes having aired on Saturday. The televised event represents the pinnacle of international sport fishing tournaments and has already been picked up in four languages and broadcast into over 400 million households across Asia!
Featuring the best anglers from China, Japan and Korea alongside Hinchinbrook fishing guides Todd Eveleigh, Ryan Moody and Josh Liddle the television series showcases Hinchinbrook as one of the World’s best fishing destinations.
Hinchinbrook Shire Mayor Ramon Jayo has said ‘The International Fishing Series has put the Hinchinbrook Shire on the map, showcasing the world class fishing experiences available on our doorstep.’
‘The International Fishing Series broadcast will provide the catalyst to increase investment in local tourism development in the Hinchinbrook region, including expanding the diversity and quality of local recreational fishing product.’
