Media Release - Closure of Council Facilities – Wednesday 21 April 2021

Hinchinbrook Shire Council advises that the following facilities are closed due to heavy rainfall experienced in the district overnight. Usual operating hours will resume when possible. 

Hinchinbrook Shire Library

Closed on Wednesday 21 April 2021. 

TYTO Regional Art Gallery

Closed on Wednesday 21 April 2021. 

Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre

Closed on Wednesday 21 April 2021. 

Halifax Library Sub Branch

Closed on Wednesday 21 April 2021. 

The following facilities will continue as normal Hinchinbrook Aquatic Centre, Warrens Hill Landfill and Resource Recovery Centre and Halifax Resource Recovery Centre.

Please be advised that the Domestic Wheelie Bin collection will be serviced as normal.
