Hard Household Rubbish Collection

12th March 2018

Council will commence kerbside pickup of hard household rubbish only (excluding green waste) from habitable flood impacted residences from Thursday 15 March 2018.

This does not include any accumulated rubbish arising from sheds or non-liveable structure clean outs and does not include green waste unless it is blocking access to the residence.

Residents are requested to place damaged goods from liveable spaces in a safe location adjacent to the property on or near the road verge.

This will be commencing 7.00am, Thursday 15 March 2018. All hard household rubbish needs to be in place by that time.

All other rubbish including green waste will need to be taken to the Warrens Hills Waste Facility by residents when road conditions allow.

Please note that if you are throwing out any items of household furniture or equipment upon which you believe an insurance claim may be possible under terms of your own insurance then you should take appropriate evidence, including photographs, sufficient to support your claim when made. Please ask your insurance company what evidence will be required for such claims.

Council must operate in accordance with the Natural Disaster Relief Guidelines.

Counter Disaster Operations is jointly funded by the Commonwealth-State under the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements.
