Click here to find out moreThe Hinchinbrook Shire Council confirms that all flood damaged items and green waste can be disposed of free of charge at either the Warrens Hill Waste Management Facility or the Halifax Transfer Station until Sunday 18 March 2018 to assist in the cleanup after recent flooding.
Residents are reminded that both the Halifax Transfer Station and Warrens Hill Waste Management Facility are now open and that Wheelie Bins are being serviced as per usual schedule.
Halifax is open with extended operating hours from 7.30am to 5.30pm until Sunday.
Warrens Hill is open as per normal operating hours, from 7.30am to 5.30pm (closed from 12.30pm to 1.00pm on weekends).
