Click here to find out moreThe renewal of the footpath, corner of Hawkins Street and Lannercost Street is nearing completion. The works, which form part of the Footpath Rehabilitation Program and the Kerb and Channel Rehabilitation Program, is designed to replace deteriorated and unsafe sections of concrete footpath with exposed aggregate concrete in keeping with the style guide adopted in 2014. Local contractors were engaged to assist Council’s construction crew to ensure that the upgrades are completed prior to the Christmas close down period, weather permitting.
