Business Workshops

Workshops and events are extremely beneficial for business owners as they aid in skill development. Such development can result in business growth and of course job creation.

Workshops and events are also a great place to network, creating partnerships and relationships with other businesses. There are a number of organisations who host business workshops and events.

Below is a list of Hinchinbrook Shire Council run business workshops. For a list of other business workshops please visit the Business Resources page.

Smart Seeds Workshop

Innovation and the creation of ideas go hand-in-hand with SmartSeeds, a program focused on influencing change and equipping future innovators with the capability, confidence and connections to drive change within their industry and community.

This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic group of individuals to shape a positive future direction for our community and build the capacity of young talent and future leaders. It will also provide you with the practical tools and knowledge to drive and enable change in our Shire.

This event promises to be a stimulating and rewarding experience for all involved.

The workshop will build on the ideas and challenges identified in the Challenge Workshop (held 22 March).

What is Smart Seeds?

Led by industry, Smart Seeds brings North Queensland together with a focus on innovation. It demonstrates the potential power of collaboration across organisations, sectors, disciplines and generations. For more information, visit www.smartseeds.org

Smart Seeds is brought to North Queensland by the I-TAP NQ partnership, a collaboration between industry and government to stimulate innovation across North Queensland.
