Council is undertaking Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) reconstruction works across the Shire due to Tropical Cyclone Jasper, Associated Rainfall and Flooding, 13 - 28 December 2023.
Unsealed Road Projects
Council, Timrith Transport and Hiesler Contracting are currently undertaking the Reconstruction of Essential Public Assets (REPA) unsealed road grading and reconstruction works within the Shire.
The program entailes certain sections of the road being formation graded or resheeted with table drains cleared and reinstated where required.
As per the Queensland Reconstruction Authorities Treatment Guide, gravel resheeting is completed as per the image below:
