Get Ready Hinchinbrook

2021 Artwork Competition

Get creative these school holidays and get ready for disaster season with an awesome Artwork Competition.

Show us (using pictures) what you think is a natural hazard risk to our district.

It can be a drawing, painting, collage or digital creation, however, it must be your own original work!

Be sure to get your entry in to Council by 4.00pm Wednesday 13 October 2021 to receive a small gift, and a chance to win a great range of items for your household Emergency Kit including a 5L dry bag, battery operated radio and power bank!

The winner will be drawn at 5.00pm Thursday 14 October 2021 and announced on Council's Hinchinbrook Disaster Information Facebook page.

Artwork templates are available from the Council Office, 25 Lannercost Street Ingham.

Local schools received an electronic version of the template for distribution before the holidays.

For further information, please contact Council's Disaster Management Officer on 4776 4600.
