Community Activity Grants Applications

Council has recently adopted the Community Activity Grants Policy, creating a more streamlined approach to funding applications. Council’s aim is to support a variety of not for profit organisations and activities throughout the Shire by offering financial assistance or sponsorship for a new or existing community activity or event, including community achievement activities, one-off community activities, start up organisations and signature regionally significant community activities.
Council is now calling for applications for activities between 1 October and 31 December 2017. Applications close 10.00am Thursday 31 August 2017.
An information session is being held on Tuesday 22 August 2017 from 12.00pm to 1.00pm in the Whistler Room, TYTO Conference and Events Centre. Bookings are essential, please contact Stacey Pether on 4776 4646 or events@hinchinbrook.qld.gov.au to secure your spot.
