Christmas in Hinchinbrook - Seniors Morning Tea

20th December 2017

The Christmas in Hinchinbrook, Senior’s Morning Tea was very well attended, with 293 people enjoying the wonderful food, entertainment and great company at the Shire Hall on Friday 1 December 2017.

Hinchinbrook Shire Council Deputy Mayor Mary Brown said that ‘it was fantastic to see so many people from across the Shire enjoy the morning tea. It was an absolute pleasure to see so many of our seniors come together to enjoy the morning tea,  embrace the entertainment, festive spirit and delight in each other’s company. The feedback I received that morning and subsequently has been extremely positive, with many wonderful compliments on the decorating, catering, entertainment and general appreciation for this special event being hosted by Council’.
