Click here to find out moreThere is nothing more magical to do at Christmas time than take the family out for a night to look at beautiful light displays. Help create a festive Christmas atmosphere and start planning a Christmas lights display at your home for the Hinchinbrook Lights Trail.
Categories for this years Trail are:
- Best Decorated Business;
- Best Decotrated House; and
- Best Decorated Street.
To register your property for inclusion in the Hinchinbrook Lights Trail, please visit Council’s Lannercost Street Office or contact Council on 4776 4600.
Properties must be registered by 5.00pm Monday 9 December 2019 for inclusion.
Council are partnering with the Hinchinbrook Community Support Centre and the Hinchinbrook Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism to bring cheer to the community this year with the Christmas Light Bus Tour.
The tour will be taking place Saturday 14 December 2019, 6.30pm for a 6.45pm departure. The tour is for Seniors of the community, is free of charge and will depart from the carpark at the rear of the Hinchinbrook Shire Hall.
Residents with wheelchairs, walkers or mobility aids will be able to leave their devices safely at Council for the duration of the tour.
