The Integrated Development Assessment System (IDAS) process applicable to development applications varies depending upon the nature of the application.  The Department of Local Government and Planning (DLGP) provides an interactive online tool to produce a flow chart unique to individual development proposals. 

To assist you with preparing and lodging an application Council has produced a six step general overview of the application process.

Step 1.  Pre-lodgement

Prior to lodging a development application Council encourage you to contact Council's Town Planning Services to discuss your development proposal and where neccessary arrange a pre-lodgement meeting.
