The Act sets out specific conditions that must be complied with if your dog is declared a regulated dog. Dogs that act aggressively, attack or cause fear to a person or another animal may be declared a regulated dog under the Act. There are three categories of regulated dogs: menacing, dangerous and restricted. Owners must meet certain conditions in relation to the keeping of these regulated animals.
